Many of us have stamps with expertizing or ownership marks. If you're like me, you may not know the origin of many of these marks.

      The illustrations in this study are from the backs of various Turkey and other Middle East stamps. I have included what little I know about the marks. If you know the origin of any of these marks, please send me the information by e-mail, and I shall include the data below.
